The capercaillie is the most important and characteristic symbol of the winery. Although relatively young, the cellar has already acquired its own appearance based entirely on the image of the bird. This label is no exception to the visual concept and it is even upgrading it.
Sparkling wines are usually a subject of various visual interpretations and special occasions for inspiration. I decided to use an elliptical label looking for connection with the Viognier wine label design I had made a year earlier. I wanted a very clean, fresh and modern design that literally shines with its own brilliance. Naturally, the most special attitude was reserved for the image of the capercaillie. I used a medium with a silver matte base, on which we printed the bird silhouette in turquoise color, and then we stamped it with a very pronounced relief, using a 3D die for embossing. The oval shape of the label is followed by an elegant embossed silver frame. At the top, I decided to use an unbranded silver capsule, which at the bottom ends with a necklace printed again in same turquoise color. The bottle is classical for sparkling wine. The glass is transparent and you can see the remarkable color of the wine, ranging from light salmon pink to sparkling gold. The whole design acquired a peculiar bright, gentle and elegant radiance, especially visible in places with abundant lighting and reflections.
Cedrone means ‘a capercaillie’ in Italian.
